Probably a combination of things
New gals see posting 300 so they do also
Some guys pay it and tell them they are worth it
But I feel the bigest reason is the lack of information on the hobbiest end. RB let us know what was what and kept it competitive on the provider end

The providers get to set their rates. If you don't pay that rate you are making a statement. I never see a provider who charges more than $200.

Must be a Sacramento thing cause I don't have problems beyond Sac
What you gonna do when everyone's rate is pretty much the same and at some point it will be rates werent the same 10yrs ago and won't be the same in 5yrs.
